Julie’s favorite work combines her skills and experience in the communication profession with her commitment to education. That’s why she co-founded First Class Communication.

For nearly six years, Julie led a talented communication team to create and maintain consistent branding and messaging for the Arkansas Department of Education. 

Julie has also worked at the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office,  the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce, U.S. News and World Report, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and the Arkansas Gazette.

A graduate of Hot Springs Public Schools, she holds a B.A. in history from Hendrix College and an M.A. in journalism and mass communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
